Our story

Sweetown translit from Chinese “食尚"，pronounced “ShiShang” like” Sweetown”, means new cu-fasion of Tasty Asia by eating Asian flavors made from local ingredients&tastes.

Family owned Sweetwon by Nasa Lin and Linfeng Li, inspirited by a best chef in Asian Restaurant in Tampere in 1998, discussing together to have a new fasion Asian restaurant. A first Sweetown Restaurant was opened in Matkus shopping center in Kuopio in April of 2014 and moved to Apaja shopping center in Kuopio in 2023. A Second Sweetown Restaurant was opened in Kuopio city center in June of 2017.

Sweetown aims to provide combination of excellent food at value pricing, with good atmosphere for customers who shopping or living near by, letting customers “ Enjoy food & fun”
